Roadmap & Milestones

A phase-based view of QTUM Layer’s technical evolution — from foundational testnet rollouts to mainnet activation, cross-chain expansion, and full DAO governance.

QTUM Layer follows a staged development cycle designed to progressively roll out critical infrastructure — each phase unlocking new compute, governance, and composability primitives.

Phase 1 — Q2 2025

“Foundation Phase”

  • Testnet Deployment: Initial rollout of the QTUM Layer L2 zk-rollup engine with PQC-enabled circuits

  • PQC Integration: NIST-approved cryptographic primitives embedded in all signer modules and proof systems

  • IBM Quantum Pilots: First pilot integration with quantum hardware APIs through private testnet requests

Phase 2 — Q3 2025

“Network Activation”

  • Mainnet Launch: Public launch of QTUM Layer on Solana L1 with PQC + zk-SNARK stack fully operational

  • Quantum Compute Marketplace: $QTUM used to access real-world compute cycles (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ) via the Quantum API Router

  • $QTUM Token Fair Launch: No presale. Distribution based on participation and compute ecosystem contributions

Phase 3 — Q4 2025

“Intelligent Expansion”

  • AI Agent Model Release: Launch of AI-enhanced smart contract tooling for predictive reasoning and adaptive logic

  • RWA Tokenization Stack: On-chain issuance + compliance for institutional-grade asset tokenization using quantum-secure attestations

  • QBridge Beta: Post-quantum-secure cross-chain bridge between Solana ↔ Ethereum ↔ BSC

Phase 4 — 2026

“Full Decentralization”

  • Multi-Chain Expansion: Cross-chain support for full compute routing across multiple EVM and non-EVM environments

  • Quantum Compute DAO: Governance transition to decentralized compute coordination via $QTUM voting

  • Composable Agent Registry: On-chain marketplace for verified, upgradable AI agents licensed via $QTUM

Each phase is focused not just on delivery — but on unlocking new classes of decentralized applications that were previously impossible.
